New Year's Day....

Saturday morning we all slept in a little.... even Mango! I don't think she and Clara got up until 8:30. Once everyone was up, it was time to make breakfast! I had gotten a breadmaker for Christmas (I had had one years ago, but when it broke, we never replaced it). The night before, the kids and I mixed up a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread....
.... we sliced it up and used it to make some extremely yummy french toast!! After that big breakfast... we were ready for a nap! :-)

We hung out at home for a while... getting a few things done and waiting for Jeff to get home (he left for home bright and early that morning).

That afternoon we headed over to our friends' house to watch the Rose Bowl.

The guest list was a little girl heavy....
... Alex was EXTREMELY outnumbered :-)

After the game, Clara stayed for a sleepover and Jeff, Alex and I came home. Alex wanted to play Kinect with us, so we did!

After Kinect Adventure, we all played Kinect Sports in Party Mode. It was a lot of fun... oddly, my best event was left handed discus. It is truly amazing that there are no other controllers other than your body!!
