Day two started just as day one had.... on the slopes as soon as the lifts opened.
Here's Clara ready to go....
They all went off to ski and I went into the cafe, found myself a seat by the window and read. At a little before 11, they came in for a break. Alex decided that he wanted to try the paintball biathlon course that opened at 11, so off we went.
This was new for him... he had never shot a paintball gun and had never cross country skied before. We got him fitted with rental skis and off we went (in hindsight, I should have gotten either cross country skis or snowshoes since I walked the course with him).
Shooting at the first station...
(not his hat... had to borrow one from the lost and found). He adapted to cross country skiing pretty quickly, but as you can tell from the snow on his jacket, he did have a small wipeout early on.
Done shooting and off to the next paintball station...
One happy boy...
By the time he was done (he went through the course twice), he was one tired and hungry boy! Thankfully we meeting Jeff and Clara here...
... for lunch and it was just across the street from the end of the course!
After lunch, they all went back to skiing on the mountain and I went back to our condo to read in front of the fire. They came back to the condo briefly to eat dinner and then went back to the slopes until they closed at 9pm!! They just couldn't get enough of it!
We had such a great trip and we can't wait to go back. Hopefully we'll get up there this summer as well.
That's the end of my photos of our trip... but Jeff took a few with our point and shoot camera, I'll have to get those up next!
