Project Life 2015: Week 13, part one

I've hit my first slump of the year.  I have one half of week 13 done, but not the second half.  I have everything laid out, but I just can't pull it together.  I also have at least three 2010 pages in progress that I can't get finished for some reason either.  (And I'm not even going to go into the the other 3 extra spreads I'm completely ignoring for my 2015 book... sigh.)

So, instead I'll celebrate what I do have finished!  Here's the first half of week 13...

I do need to get my act together though... I've decided to print three times this year, so I'm just about a month away from ordering my first book of the year!  I had originally planned to print January through the end of school, summer break and then start of school through the end of December.  But with the added snow/cold weather days, Alex is out of school a good week after Clara and Clara goes back to school nearly two weeks before Alex does in the fall.  It made it hard to nail down exactly where to split the books, so I'm doing (roughly) thirds instead.

Here are the supplies I used (links on pinterest)....

  1. What you've got looks great! I love all the yellow. I've been in a Project Life slump for quite a while now. Finished 5 weeks of 2015, but have been so distracted with baby preparations (and other scrapbooking projects that seemed more urgent). I have let it completely slide. I keep telling myself that I'll have plenty of hours to catch up after he's born and I'm sitting up all by my lonesome each night waiting for the midnight feeding. :)

    1. Thanks Jenny! I think my main problem is that I take on/create too many projects when I have more down time and then all of the sudden life gets super busy and I feel overwhelmingly behind on it all. Part of it is also spring! The itch to be outside, doing something versus bundled up inside with my laptop (plus all of the kids' activities ramp up this time of year). I love the birthday books you have on your blog! That's such a great idea! You're in the homestretch with this pregnancy, right? When in May are you due?

    2. Thanks! I'm due May 25th, but if he's anything like his brothers, he'll arrive a little bit early. ;) I'm the same way about having too many project started at once. I have a Disney album I've been working on (off and on) for months. I feel like I'll never finish it!
