Here are the last of the photos.... (finally)...
Clara wearing her new hat while we waited for California Adventure to open...
While we waited, Jeff discovered Goofy in another part of the park... he texted me and the kids and I came over to get autographs...
and since there was no line, they posed with the cars from the movie Cars....
Our reason for being there right as it opened was so we could ride the new Toy Story Midway Mania ride that had long, long lines and no fast passes. We got on right away and really enjoyed it.
After that, Clara announced that she was ready to try a roller coaster that goes upside down. She also decided that she would prefer to go with her big brother...... she looks thrilled, doesn't she?
She was a little apprehensive at first but ended up loving it! I think they rode it at least 6 times that day.
After that, we decided to go on Mickey's Fun Wheel and they insisted on one of the swinging gondolas. I posted a video of part of our ride a couple of weeks ago. Here are a couple of still photos of Clara enjoying the ride and Alex hating every single second of it....
We then went over to Disneyland, where they immediately saw Pluto and stopped for autographs...
and a photo...
Not sure where all we went that morning... but we rode quite a bit. Their favorite of the day was Splash Mountain which they rode over and over (thanks to the single rider line). Right by the exit of Splash Mountain is where Winnie the Pooh and Tigger hang out.
So they got in line for autographs and photos...
Clara ended up getting wet enough that afternoon that she wanted to change clothes so we walked back to the hotel for her to change and ate at a nearby restaurant.
Before going back into the parks, we had something we needed to do. Her tap teacher asked her to have a photo taken of herself doing an arabesque on our trip. She has a collection of these photos from her students. We forgot to do one at Legoland and Disneyland was so stuffed full of people that it was difficult to get a good shot without people walking through it.
So we decided to take a couple of shots in the plaza between Disneyland...
and California Adventure....
We stayed at California Adventure until almost closing time...
and then headed back over to Disneyland to ride a few rides during the fireworks...
.... we almost make it to closing time of Disneyland... but we were exhausted and headed back to the hotel to collapse!
Now to get caught up on my project{365} photos! I still haven't missed a day yet!
Love the photos! I didn't know that Goofy and Pluto could write!
