I'm having a hard time believing that I still have not missed a day! I think it's habit now so I'm doing pretty well. I just forget to get the photos posted :-)
day 76...
...St. Patrick's Day!! The kids found all of the green that they owned and wore everything at once. They were quite a sight to see!
day 77....
.... our new routine... Alex has recently discovered the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books... so every time he has to go with me to Clara's dance class, we walk across the street to the bookstore to pick up the next book, which he sits in the floor and reads while I chat with the other moms. (iphone)
day 78....
... a lunch date with Laney!! The kids were so excited to see Laney again. They hadn't seen each other since the play ended in January (she played the role of Susan in Miracle on 34th Street).
day 78...
... snow on the first day of spring (iphone)
day 80....
... driving to my mom and dad's house in missouri (iphone)
day 81...
... the kids were very excited to spend the day outdoors! We bought roller blades and they roller bladed.... they practiced with the bow and arrow set grandpa got them and they did some target practice with the BB gun too!
day 82....
.... Clara found the Raggedy Ann and Andy set that my grandmother had made me when I was little. She decided to draw a portrait of Andy for me.
day 83....
... Alex working on his golf swing.
day 84...
... it was a cold and windy day so we stayed in and dyed eggs (before going to see the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie that afternoon).
day 85....
... figuring out the plan for our day at Silver Dollar City.
day 86....
... on Lake Shore Drive... almost home!
day 87....
... the boys celebrating a Spartan victory!!!
I have a lot more pics from our trip to MO, hopefully I'll get around to posting some of them.... eventually :-)

days 70-75
day 70....
.... on dog duty. Jeff was at a dinner meeting so I had to walk the dog. This was taken with my phone while walking down our fairly dark street at night... turned out kind of freaky, didn't it?
day 71...
... a non-blurry photo of Friday Girl! It was 51 degrees out, so the kids decided it was perfect weather for a picnic on the deck... Friday joined them.
day 72....
...Clara had a friend over and the three of them played Monopoly for over two hours! Crazy deals were being made... I heard Clara's friend offer Alex some of her properties if he would let her sit on the exercise ball.
day 73...
... family movie night!
day 74....
...Alex and his library book... we had just gotten back and he had to start reading. He's into the human body right now so he was reading a first aid book (and informing me about the proper way to remove a tick... ick!).
day 75...
...Clara decided that she needed to practice the recital dance for her tap class (she's not going to be in the recital since she'll be at camp already). If you can't guess by the umbrella... they're doing Singing in the Rain.

days 65-69
day 65...
organizing the bottle cap collection (this is Clara's stash)
day 66...
spring fever... Jeff and I had to stop in the Cubs store to see if they had anything new :-)
day 67....
practicing Sloop John B
day 68....
violin practice
day 69...
beautiful day... jumping rope outside on the deck
(this was quite a bit before the dental emergency.... Clara tripped on the rope and went teeth first into the railing... thankfully all is okay.... just a little chip which they smoothed out for her... whew!)

days 54-64
I bet you thought I had stopped doing this, didn't you? Nope... I had just gotten way behind on posting. I did keep a list with the day and the photo on my desk so that did make it easier once I got the time to sit down and get organized. Some of these photos you have seen before... but it took me a bit to decide which photo would be my official "photo-of-the-day".
So.... here we go...
day 54...
Alex before his much needed haircut.
day 55...
Clara in curlers.
(Thanks Kez for helping me decide)
day 56...
Alex ice skating.
day 57....
Waiting for the train home after seeing the student matinee of the Joffrey Ballet's production of Cinderella.
day 58....
Highlight of our hotel room.... a tv behind the mirror in the bathroom. The kids sat in the tub and watched the Olympics.
day 59...
My family in their ski lesson.
day 60....
First ones in line for the chair lift.
day 61...
Girl stuff... all lined up and ready for when they got out of the pool at swim lessons. Oh... and Julie got to come too.
day 62...
Clara's new bedding that she bought herself.
day 63....
First two cavities... :-(
day 64...
Pistachio gelato... yum!

monday
Monday just the kids skied. Our plan was to have them out there as soon as they opened so we could head back to the city in time to make Clara's evening dance class.
First in line for the chairlift...
First ones up...
First ones down...
and then do it all over again...
They skied for about 2 hours and I think they got in about 20 runs... it was really empty that day. Because there were fewer people, we let Alex try out some harder runs. Neither kid wiped out that day! I have to say that I was very proud of Clara for getting right back out there after her falls the night before.
Anyway... they loved it and are already planning their next ski trip! :-)
Oh... hopefully in the next post I'll catch up with my photo of the day project... I still haven't missed a day!!

the last....
... of the sledding photos.
After a while the kids got tired of trudging back up the big hill so they moved over to the little one...
The little hill had a little bump at the end and Jeff decided that this was more his speed.
I'm not sure it was a good idea though :-)
The kids loved it though....
Then they decided to do the train again....
Alex driving the train...
Then they decided to go over the bump as a train...
a really hard landing...
Clara loses her hat...
and then loses Alex and continues down the hill...
Here my darling daughter is asking her daddy to aim her toward me so she can take me out...
The disappointment when she didn't....
Alex wanted to go back over to the big hill and Clara was done with sledding so we walked back over to the rink for a bit....
After that we went back to the room and had Chinese take-out for dinner. Once they were done with dinner, Jeff and the kids got their gear on and went back to ski for a couple of hours. Clara had two spectacular crashes (from what I heard). The first one shook her up a bit but she went right back up to keep skiing (after calling me to tell me how badly she was hurt). The second one ended the night... but then again, it was 9:00pm and they had been skiing, skating and sledding since 10:00 am.
