Today our homeschool group met at the Lincoln Park Zoo for our playgroup. It was wonderful! It was really cold out (25ish) but the sun was out, the buildings were warm and the place was practically empty.
We started out in the big cat house, so here are some big cats.... :-)
We worked our way down the cages to the other end of the building, then the lions started roaring so Alex and Clara were off to check them out again...
We spent some time in Alex's favorite place, the Reptile House and then it was off to the climbing structure inside in the children's zoo portion. We didn't get to stay too long before we had to be off to martial arts class. It was a good day.We don't have too much planned for this weekend. Tomorrow I have got to work on some scrapping projects. Do you realize that I don't think I've scrapped anything except for the kids' Valentines in a month or so? I have some projects I'm behind on, so hopefully I'll get some time to work on them.
Okay... I'm off to bed!

I think you definitely should get back in the photo a day thing...may be it should be "a photo whenever!!" :) I love your photography!! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the kids had a great time at the zoo...I'm jealous. We have a zoo here...hahahaha...if you can call it that. I really miss the big zoos of Columbus, Denver and DC that we used to live by.
