I decided it was high time I start working on my Paris album again. So, here you go....details here
Nothing much going on here. We got back to our regular school stuff today. The kids did a great job with their book. I'll have to take pics to post.
Well... last week I was tagged by Holly, so here goes....
8 Things You May or May Not Know About Me - and this is a photographer one, so I will have to find 8 photographers to tag at the end. (I copied and pasted that from Holly's blog if it sounds familiar... lol!)
1. I don't feel hot, cold or pain on my right side.
2. I have panic attacks on airplanes (ask my husband).
3. I love the band Little Feat (pre-Shaun, I must admit).
4. I had a lamb named Cindy as a pet when I was a kid.
5. I haven't driven a vehicle since March.
6. I am highly unorganized.
7. I must have Dr. Pepper in the house... even if I don't drink it, I just find comfort in knowing it's there.
8. I just can't wear shoes in the house... I just can't :-)
So... hmmm.... 8 photographers to tag...
Sarah
Julie (look at her Sept. 10th post for pics of Alex, Clara and even me -gasp! - that she took when she and Natalie were here)
Natalie (and if you look at her blog, look at her August 16th post with the pics she took of Clara and Alex when she was here visiting)
Frederique
Marla
Meg
Bridget
Jen
Whew... that was tough! I "know" several photographers... but I don't think many read my blog... I'm not even sure the people I listed above read my blog... but it was worth a shot. :-)
Thank you Jessica and Robin for you comments about our school day yesterday! I know I mentioned it earlier but it seemed to go really well. Alex really needs to work on his handwriting and making him do copywork and handwriting practice is like pulling teeth some days. But yesterday he very happily copied sentences out of our school books onto paper for their book they were putting together. My only rule for yesterday was that they had to take it seriously and do their best... and Alex did page after page of neatly copied work! If I would have "assigned" him that much writing there definitely would have been tears.... lol!
Okay... I'm going to wrap this up and head to bed!
'nite!
ooooh! ok I'm trying to think of 8 things! I love the Paris layout, that is going to be such a cool album. And the kids book sounds great too, I think they'll learn heaps from doing that- and have a great book to boot...
ReplyDeleteI love the new Paris layout! I just downloaded Hawaii and am trying to organize some of that file. I can't wait to see the book the kids did. Jordan and Lys love to make books. We usually do one for Spring Break so she can keep up with her writing and spelling. Our newest adventure is a nightly journal. I write to her everyday and after she is all tucked in she can read my special message and she replies back to me. It helps get her in bed quicker, works on her spelling and reading, makes her feel special, and gives her another outlet for communication to me. It has been a huge hit!
