(well... actually that was taken last night but it doesn't look much different now)My friend Tracy and her girls came over for the afternoon yesterday. They played with various things for a while and then inspiration hit to make a fort out of blankets and the dining room chairs. Why not? So they built it and then gathered up camping supplies to stock their fort. They had a really great time! But my two didn't want the fun to end and elected to clean the fort up themselves later rather than having their friends help them clean it up then. We'll see how it goes, but we have agreed to let them camp out in it tonight. Not sure how long that will last with both of them trying to sleep in that cramped space... but at least their real beds will be close if they decide to bail. :-)
Today is a pretty low key day. Clara has a playdate with one of her friends from dance. So it will be just me and Alex this afternoon. We invited his neighbor friend over to play legos, but he had already made plans for this afternoon. Oh well... it might be nice for Alex to have a low key Clara-free afternoon.
Okay... off to start my day!
