MSI

Yesterday we spent the day at the Museum of Science and Industry with my friend Pam and her kids. Pam and I belonged to the MOMS Club in Texas and our kids were in the same playgroup back when they were all itty-bitty. Oddly enough we both made the move to the Chicago area at the same time (her to the 'burbs, us to the city). So we try to get together at least once a year.... and we were due for an outing :-)

We had a really good time. There were quite a few people, but it wasn't crowded feeling at all.

Here are the boys, Alex and Cade...
and the girls, Clara and Maddi...
another one of the girls...
They were doing lots of science experiment stations and science demos around the museum. This was one of their favorites...
Here they were making slime...
We had a great day! It was fun catching up with Pam while the kids played.

We left the museum and went straight to art class! Amazingly enough, we made it there about 10 minutes early (and that was with taking the L and two buses!!).

Yikes!! It's almost 9:30.... so much to do today... gotta run!
