December 10th

Yesterday was one crazy day!! First up... Clara went to school. She was so excited, it was her school's winter dance show (she goes to a performing arts school).

Loved their costumes.....

They did really well, especially considering most of these kids have never had dance outside of school.

As soon as she was off stage, we rushed out the door because it was an all day dress rehearsal day for Nutcracker. I dropped her off at 11:30 and didn't see her again until 4:00.

At four, I picked her up and we went out to dinner with one of her Snow Tree Angel friends and her mom. Clara is really making lots of new friends through Nutcracker and is so enjoying every minute of it!

I went on home because Jeff's brother and his family were coming in for the weekend. They're going to see Clara in the Nutcracker tonight. We hung out with them and had some pizza (they're staying at a vacation rental by owner condo just a couple doors down from us)... and at some point walked Alex up for his show.

Clara is only in the first act of Nutcracker, but last night they let the kids all stay and sit together to watch the second act. Clara loved it! But... she was d.o.n.e. when she got home. She said being up on stage was "awesome" and she so loves hanging out with her new friends. I'm glad... because she gets to do it 9 more times! :-)
